There are several Game Modes in Brave Nine including both PvE and PvP content.
PvE

| Campaign | Play through the story of the game. |

PvP
| Game Mode | Description |
|---|---|
| Arena | Pit your strongest mercenaries against other players' mercenary teams. |
| Novice Arena | Similar to Arena, but without 5★ mercenaries and limited to a max of 3 4★ mercenaries. |
| Guild War | Battle and defend against other guilds. |
| Mystic Island | Collect Mystic Dust while pillaging and defending from other players. |
| Underground Arena | Face off against other players in real time. |
